B. Announcements:

5. The club decided NOT to attend the Tallahassee Show in June.
C. Minutes of the previous meeting of March 7th were read by Secretary Gerald
Russo.
1. Corrections to minutes: None
a. The minutes were moved and accepted.
2. The treasurer’s report was presented by Treasurer Bill Little.
a. As of this date there is $2,885.39 in the treasury.
D. Old Business
1. Work on finishing the new yard and powering the sidings on Green. Turnout
into the yard on the north end needs some attention. Also the yard needs some
more drops on the north end to fix some dead spots in the track.
2. Make new Stanchions and repair some others.
a.We will need PVC, glue, blue paint and concrete.
3. Finish the Farm module. (need 1” blue foam)
4. The trailer needs some maintenance: left fender lights and bearings greased.
E. New Business
1. We need to schedule times to accomplish our present work list.
2. We need to begin work on planning for Operating Sessions. This will entail
much careful work; figuring the location of industries, what kind of cars
needed, which cars, and making cards for each car used. We’ll need some expert
advice as we go!
3. Need to identify dead tracks and add power drops.
4. Reed volunteered to extend the E & W yard leads.
5. Need to isolate the Main 1 yard from the rest of the system.
6. Comments by
President, Vice President, and other members:
a. Chuck has added a toggle switch on the yard command station for track
programming.
b. Suggestion that the club may need to purchase some more flex track.
F. Club Welfare:
Our prayers are with Chip and Susan. We continue to lift up Steve, Donna, Rick &
Reed.
