Minutes of Business
Meeting of July 6, 2026
I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by President Charles
Tucker.
A. Officers attending: President Charles Tucker,
Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Gerald Russo.
B. Members attending :
Allen Ashbrook, Richard Bamber, Bob Canavello, Jerry Dupont, Chuck Mudford, Sean
O’Brien, Mark Soltero.
II. Minutes of the previous meeting of June 1, 2026 were
read by Secretary Gerald Russo.
A. Corrections to minutes: none. The minutes were moved
and accepted.
B. The treasurer’s report was presented by Treasurer
Bill Little. As of this date there is $2,676.57 in the treasury.
III. Announcements:
A. Next Meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. August 3, 2026.
B. Next run sessions will be July 13, 20, 27. July 20
will be an Operating Session at 6 p.m. if desired.
C. We still have 2024 and 2025 cars available.
D. The Flotation Show will be September 26 with setup
on Friday, September 25.
E. The modules, etc. have been moved from the trailer
to the storage container at Tucker’s Trains while trailer remodeling work is in
progress. Chuck is also reworking the corner show modules.
IV. Old Business
A. Report on the progress of new engine facility
modules and suggested schedule for construction.
1. Bench work should be completed within the next week or 10 days. (completed)
2. Work is
progressing on the corner show modules.
B. There is a shirt list and anyone needing a club
shirt should sign on the list in the next week or two so we can place the order.
C. New log-in for the PMRC HO Web site:
www.phomrc.com/index.htm.
D. Update from Jesse about the redesign of the trailer.
V. New Business
A. Please post news, pictures, video to the PMRC HO
Facebook page. Meeting times, etc. need updating.
B. There is a show in Mobile in September. (19th &
20th)
C. Request for club membership from Richard Bamber.
Motion to accept Richard Bamber as a PMRC HO Div. club member, 2nd and approved.
D. Comments by President. Chuck needs assistance
working the corner show modules.
E. Comments by any other
members.
1. Due to shortage
of cork, suggestion that foam be used under the mainline track on the new
roundhouse modules.
2. NMRA convention in
Chattanooga the end of July.
3. Still having issues on
properly securing the gate locks.
VI. Club Welfare
We continue to lift up Reed Ostrander, Patricia Dupont
and David Ramirez.
